Dr. Scott Siegel 

Dr. Scott Siegel is a board certified dual degree (MD, DDS), Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with a special emphasis on pediatric surgery. Dr Siegel is a pioneer of laser tongue and lip tie surgery. He lectures internationally, conducts clinical research and publishes on these topics. 

Dr Siegel is medical director of the Center for Tethered Oral Tissues in NYC and Long Island. Currently Dr Siegel is conducting clinical tongue tie research in collaboration with the department of Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University. To date Dr Siegel has performed over 16,000 tongue and lip tie laser procedures.

Lisa is a Certified Nurse Midwife and Lactation Consultant, with a private practice on Staten Island. Lisa is honored to work with women on their journeys towards their health care goals. This includes well woman care (gyn and primary care), lactation assistance, nutrition and using functional and integrative methods to solve complex concerns such as hormonal, infertility, thyroid, or autoimmune conditions. With over 30 years of experience, and education, Lisa's qualifications and abilities in women's healthcare continue to evolve. As a student of Dr. Aviva Romm's Functional and Integrative Medicine Professional Training  Program, she is able to provide a unique "root cause" method of healthcare and a women-centered, caring approach. 

Lisa is the author of It Shouldn’t Hurt to Nurse Your Baby: Breastfeeding solutions for the six most common causes of painful nipples. She is well known for her expertise in assisting families to breastfeed with tethered oral tissues and lectures to other professionals regarding the team approach to caring for infants with lip and tongue tie.
